This is a 4 month long cohort where we will improve our dream memory, learn how to better pull meaning from dreams, work with our dreaming mind to receive dreams of guidance or training, and to lucid dream both spontaneously and at will. Most importantly, we learn how to integrate these experiences so they stick. History is filled with examples of dreams that inspired great advancement in our understanding of reality. It is filled with examples of dreams that revealed the missing piece of long sought out inventions, of scientific theories and techniques of healing. From the sowing machine to Peter Levine’s somatic therapy, there is overwhelming evidence that dreams are a powerful creative tool. This course is inspired by a dream in which an invention was showcased dramatic fashion to me in a dream. I have no doubt this invention would work if I had the knowhow to get it designed and built, but that is not the message I take from this dream. The message I take is to get those who do have the knowhow to embrace dreams as a method of creativity, and to train them to the highest degree so they can bring these gifts into the world.
